Deep in the anxiety-ridden halls of echochamp HQ, between stints of unemployment and call-centre work, Icehead recorded their incidental debut single. In an attempt to recapture their youthful vigour, George Boorman, Jack Pulman and Daniel Moore set about channelling the sounds of their collective adolescence - bonding over a shared love of pop-punk and vocal harmonies. The resulting two tracks display a knack for soaring, melancholic angst, strung together by an assured sense of melody.
